The red tent tradition has offered women a safe place to gather, speak honestly, and be held for decades. The Purple Tent grows from that same root, and opens the circle wider.

Over the past year I helped set up and run an online support group for trans and non-binary folk, held by some truly wonderful people. Being able to support others in honouring their true, often hidden selves turned out to be one of the most meaningful things I have ever done.

The Purple Tent is the offline version of that. Local, intimate, and away from all the noise.

What Happens Here

A monthly gathering for queer folk and those who love us.

Each circle is rooted in softness, ritual, and belonging. We open together, create a shared container of trust, and then simply talk. Honestly, without agenda, and without judgement.

Whether you are navigating the world right now, sitting with your own journey, or simply wanting to be heard and seen. There is space for you here.

I am kink aware and LGBTQIA+ affirming. Nothing you bring to this circle will shock or unsettle me. That is not a small thing, and it is offered deliberately.

What is shared in the circle stays in the circle.

What to Expect

Bella in daylight is warm and enveloping, sunlight filtering softly through the canvas walls. At night, candlelit and glowing, she becomes something else entirely. A beacon in the grove.

Up to twelve people at most. Enough for richness, small enough for safety.

Before joining your first circle we will have a brief conversation and I will ask you to agree to some simple circle guidelines. This is how we keep the space trustworthy for everyone inside it.

Nobody is turned away for lack of funds. If you would like to come but money is tight, get in touch and we will find a way. Regular attendees can ask about monthly options.
